This multi block linocut print is the 3rd in a series of linocut printed major arcana that I am slowly completing over multiple years. As this was my first multi coloured linocut print I decided to create “The Fool” and combine my love of rats into this piece. The fool in tarot is meant to signify a potential of new growth untainted by experience and is meant to encourage taking risks and a jump into new territory and to approach situations with an open mind and willingness to learn. I felt this was the perfect card to choose for the latest technique in my artist toolbox.
