Marie Spina is a versatile artist based in the Yukon, working across a variety of mediums. She graduated from the Yukon School of Visual Arts in 2022 and has since emerged as a dynamic figure in the local art scene. In 2022 and 2023, she showcased her intricate beaded installations at the Yukon Riverside Arts Festival in Dawson. In the summer of 2023, she participated in the “Make Something” residency, where she explored eco-printing to create her piece Hide of the Land. Marie’s journey with linocut printing began in 2022 and has since become a central focus of her artistic practice.
